Edge Profiling includes tongue and groove, milling, jump milling, splitting, corner rounding, beveling, etc. The number of machining units in an edge profiling machine is dependent on the profile one wishes to produce.
T&G Machines for OSB panels that typically run at 400 fpm. There is a “Showroom” T&G machine at the PMI facility, in Charlotte. Special machines for T&G laminate flooring run at over 600 fpm.

Schwabedissen is a German producer of machinery for sawing and edge profiling panels.
Panels include OSB, Particleboard, MDF, HDF, cement and sandwich composites.
Book Sawing Systems. The manufacturing program includes machines for book heights of 4” to 12” and maximum panel sizes up to 12’ by 45’. A range of handling equipment compliments the saw, providing a complete, integrated sawing system. Allen Bradley Electrical Systems are a Schwabedissen Standard.
